Indian Sportsperson and Bollywood Actress Stranded in (UAE) Amid Escalating Middle East War Tensions
(International Desk 1st March – Navneet Bansal News Room 7) Amid rising military tensions in the Middle East following ongoing conflict between Iran and Israel, Indian Olympic badminton medalist PV Sindhu and Bollywood actress Esha Gupta have reportedly been stranded in the United Arab Emirates due to large-scale flight disruptions and temporary airspace restrictions. According to available information, PV Sindhu was in transit through Dubai while travelling for an international badminton tournament when several flights were cancelled as a precautionary security measure. Airport operations were affected after multiple countries in the region imposed restrictions following missile alerts and heightened security concerns.
Meanwhile, actress Esha Gupta, currently in Abu Dhabi, shared updates through social media confirming that she is safe but unable to travel as scheduled due to the volatile situation and suspension of flights across parts of the Gulf region. Authorities across the Middle East have tightened security, and aviation routes remain under continuous review. Indian embassies in the region are closely monitoring developments and extending assistance to Indian nationals facing travel disruptions.
Despite panic and uncertainty caused by the rapidly evolving geopolitical situation, both Sindhu and Gupta are reported safe, and efforts are underway to resume normal flight operations once conditions stabilize.
