ਪਰ, ਟੀਚੇ ਦਾ ਪਿੱਛਾ ਕਰਦੇ ਹੋਏ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੀ ਸ਼ੁਰੂਆਤ ਬੇਹੱਦ ਖਰਾਬ ਰਹੀ। ਲਖਨਊ ਦੇ ਗੇਂਦਬਾਜ਼ਾਂ ਨੇ ਅਜਿਹੀ ਅੱਗ ਉਗਲੀ ਕਿ ਪਾਵਰਪਲੇ ਦੇ ਅੰਦਰ ਹੀ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦਾ ਸਕੋਰ 26/4 ਹੋ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਟੀਮ ਮੁਸੀਬਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਫਸ ਗਈ। ਮੁਹੰਮਦ ਸ਼ਮੀ ਨੇ ਪਾਰੀ ਦੀ ਪਹਿਲੀ ਹੀ ਗੇਂਦ ‘ਤੇ ਦਿੱਲੀ ਦੇ ਕਪਤਾਨ ਕੇ.ਐਲ. ਰਾਹੁਲ ਨੂੰ ਜ਼ੀਰੋ ‘ਤੇ ਆਊਟ ਕਰਕੇ ਸਭ ਨੂੰ ਹੈਰਾਨ ਕਰ ਦਿੱਤਾ।

(Post match report, 2nd April, Navneet Bansal, Newsroom 7) LUCKNOW – In a dramatic turnaround at the Ekana Stadium, the Delhi Capitals (DC) snatched a 6-wicket victory from the jaws of defeat against the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) yesterday night.
The evening began perfectly for the visitors after winning the toss and electing to field. The DC bowling unit, led by the clinical Lungi Ngidi (3/27) and T. Natarajan (3/29), suffocated the Lucknow batters. Despite a brief fightback from Abdul Samad (36) and Mitchell Marsh (35), LSG collapsed to a modest 141 all out in the 19th over.
However, the chase looked doomed from the start. Lucknow’s bowlers came out with fire, reducing Delhi to a precarious 26/4 within the Powerplay. Mohammed Shami provided the highlight of the early exchange, dismissing DC captain KL Rahul for a golden duck on the very first delivery of the innings.
